About the event
Candle Lake is a new, unique concert series that combines the beauty of nature, the magic of classical music, and the intimate atmosphere of candlelight into a memorable, all-sensory experience. The series aims to bring iconic melodies to life in special locations, on picturesque waterfronts – in string quartet arrangements, in a candlelit setting, and in an uplifting atmosphere.
The first event will take place on August 7th at the City Park Ice Rink , where participants will be treated to a unique spectacle and soundscape. Thousands of floating candles will float on the lake's surface, and a talented string quartet will perform Coldplay's most famous hits on stage - in classical arrangements and new lighting.
